Court documents: Screams, thuds heard on day of NH toddler's death
BERLIN — Details surrounding the death of a 2½ girl have been made public after a judge unsealed the affidavit in the case.
Roger Joseph Dana, 43, has been charged with second-degree murder for recklessly causing the death of his daughter Madison Dana on Nov. 27.
The affidavit written by Officer Adam Marsh said neighbors heard screams and thuds on the night of Madison's death, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader.
The officers found Madison unresponsive when they arrived at the apartment belonging to the girl's mother on York Street. She later died at Androscoggin Valley Regional Hospital.
Dana, who was arrested Dec. 2, is being held at the Coos County Department of Corrections without bail.
