Couple arrested on crack-cocaine, heroin charges after noise complaints at Manchester hotel


MANCHESTER - A man and woman were arrested in Manchester on charges of having heroin, cocaine, and plans to sell them.

Police responded to noise complaints at the La Quinta Inn and Suites on 21 Front Street at 1:15 a.m. on Sunday.

Stephanie Desimone, 27 of Manchester, was arrested after police saw a white powdery substance on the table, and identified it as crack-cocaine.

Police say her boyfriend, Richard Acker, 31 of Manchester, had 19.7 grams of crack-cocaine, 18 grams of heroin, and $6,000 in cash.

Desimone was released on bail.

Acker will appear in court on Jan. 4. Desimone will appear in court on Feb. 3.
