Cory Booker speaks in NH about his support for Hillary Clinton

MANCHESTER - Many of the big names in the Democratic party took part in the McIntyre-Shaheen 100 Club Celebration -- an annual tradition where New Hampshire voters and supporters get a last look at candidates.

This year Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton stood on the same stage for the final time before the primary on Tuesday.
Popular New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker, the former Newark mayor, showed his support for Clinton by sporting a campaign pin.
"I think her whole career has been having people come at her, pushing back and she just keeps on fighting for people," said Booker to NH1’s Kevin Landrigan and Chantel McCabe.
When asked about the atmosphere in the state only days away from the primary, Sen. Booker was enthusiastic about Granite Staters’ involvement.
"To see this much engagement and involvement in this great state, who don’t think democracy is a spectator sport but are getting involved, that says a lot," he said.
Sen. Booker was followed by a big crowd wanting photos and autographs.
Listen to his full comments as he spoke to NH1 News about his reaction to the Democratic Debate at UNH and to fellow New Jersey politician and Republican presidential candidate, Gov. Chris Christie.
