Conway court employee indicted on theft charges

OSSIPEE - A former employee of the circuit court in Conway is charged with stealing $3,568 in court fees and money charged for copying documents.

The Conway Daily Sun reported Erin Dascoulias, 45, of Conway was indicted on charges of theft by unauthorized taking and falsifying physical evidence. The theft charge is a felony and carries a prison sentence of up to 15 years and $4,000 fine.

As for the falsifying physical evidence charge, she is alleged to have altered a judicial order signed by Judge Pamela Albee "creating a false impression concerning a ruling on a motion to waive filing fees on a civil case."
