PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) A 16-year-old girl wounded in a shooting outside a Portland high school has been upgraded from critical to serious condition.

Portland police said Saturday that Taylor Michelle Zimmers remains hospitalized along with two others injured in the Friday shooting.

Twenty-year-old David Jackson-Liday and 17-year-old Labraye Franklin remained in fair condition.

Police arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with the shooting. Lonzo Murphy was charged with a parole violation and could face additional charges. Police say he's a "person of interest" in an incident they believe was related to gang activity.
