Concord woman arrested in Littleton 3 weeks after disappearing with 2 kids ordered out of her custody

CONCORD - Concord police and the U.S. Marshals arrested a woman after they say she disobeyed a court order to turn over her two children to their father's custody and disappeared with them.

Breanna Carson was arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with two counts of interference with custody.

Police said Carson was ordered by the Concord Family Court to turn her two children (ages 4 & 3) on Aug. 11, but . As of Aug. 14, the father reported to police he had not seen or heard from them.

Carson was not in known locations when Concord detectives went to check in, and family did not know her whereabouts, until getting information that that she was in Littleton.

The police asked for assitance from the U.S. Marshals and the Littleton Police Department, and they arrested Carson Tuesday in Littleton on a warrant.

The children were located with Breanne and later turned over to their father.

She was released on $4,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to be arraigned on Oct. 19.
