Concord students raising money for fund to honor Natalie Velez

CONCORD - Rundlett Middle School students and the Concord community are raising money for a fund that honors Natalie Velez, a 6th-grade student who recently died.

On Wednesday, students lined up outside to spell out her name and posted the image on Facebook to promote a fundraising event at Boutwell's bowling in Concord.

The bowling fundraiser has been organized for Saturday at 1 p.m. Pledge and donation forms for the Natalie Velez Memorial Fund are available at the middle school.

People do not have to participate in the fundraiser to help out -- checks can be made out to the Natalie Velez Memorial Fund.
