Concord police looking for suspect who tried to steal $900 worth of drills

CONCORD – Police are asking for the public's help to identify a suspect who tried to steal four drills from the Sears store on Loudon Road last week.

Police say store employees had seen a man put several DeWalt drills in a shopping cart and then try to leave without paying.

When employees tried to stop the suspect, he made what they described as "chicken noises" and fled without the drills.

Police say the suspect was last seen running toward the rear parking lot at Regal Cinema, next door.

The suspect was described as a white man between the ages of 25 and 35 wearing a black long sleeve shirt, with jeans or sweatpants and some type of flip-flop type shoes.

Any who recognizes the person depicted in the attached photos is asked to call the Concord Regional Crimeline at 226-3100.
