Concord man charged in shooting accident outside McDonald's

CONCORD - A 29-year-old Concord man has been charged following an accidental shooting in the parking lot of a McDonald's on Fisherville Road on Saturday.

Police say Brandon Flynn was handling a gun inside the car when it went off, hitting the legs of a woman sitting in the passenger seat.

She was taken to Concord Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the shooting was not intentional, but Flynn has been charged with reckless conduct and carrying a loaded handgun without a license.

He turned himself in to police on Wednesday. He was booked and released on $7,000 personal recognizance bail. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Concord District Court) on July 20.
