Concord convenience store clerk stabbed during robbery


CONCORD – Police are still looking for the man whom held up the Concord Mart on North Main Street at about 2:25 p.m. Sunday.

The store clerk reported that a man walked into the store, revealed that he had a knife and asked him if he “wanted to die.”

After he opened the register, the clerk said he was stabbed in the hand by the suspect after attempting to fend him off with a stick. The clerk was treated at the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s, with grey facial hair and wearing a dark colored hoodie with light blue jeans.
