Company charged in deadly NH circus tent collapse to be arraigned next week

LANCASTER — The event company that put up a tent that collapsed at the Lancaster Fairgrounds on Aug. 3, 2015 was supposed to be arraigned in Coos County Superior Court on Monday, but the hearing has been postponed until Wednesday, Aug. 17.

The Union Leader reported the delay and that Walker International Events – a Florida-based company – was indicted by a grand jury in July for a number of charges related to the tent collapse.

About 100 people were inside the tent when a storm blew through, toppling it.

Robert Young and his daughter Annabelle, of Concord, Vermont, were killed; 50 others were injured.
