DOVER - A neighborhood is in disbelief after learning of the deaths of a married couple who lived at 23 Tennyson Ave.
The home is owned by Katherine Ricker, according to city tax records.
Ricker is believed to be one of two individuals dead after an apparent murder-suicide at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. Ricker's husband, Mark Lavoie, posted a status on Facebook early Tuesday indicating he was ending his life.
Family, friends and neighbors were saddened at Lavoie and Ricker's apparent deaths. Flowers were seen brought to the home Tuesday afternoon.
"Just really shocked," said neighbor Judi Livingston. "We just feel real bad to hear that so much was going on over there, and we didn't know about it."
There was a police presence at the home Tuesday morning, residents said.
An investigation is continuing.
