KEENE — The Keene community is honoring the late Police Chief Brian Costa by selling T-shirts and stickers to go towards the Costa kids' college fund.
Costa was discovered dead at his Keene residence March 9, leading to an investigation of his untimely death.
Gov. Chris Sununu expressed his condolences for the family of Costa, saying, "A dedicated public servant, Brian was among the brave men and women of our police force who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe. For that, we are grateful.”
The public can order a black T-shirt that says Keene High on the front in orange writing with the number 23 written in white on the back under Costa's name. A gray T-shirt is also available with a K-9 showcasing the number 111 with a blue stripe. Both shirts cost $15 a piece. A K-9 sticker is also available for $8.
Costa had been with the Keene Police Department since 1996.
