The Associated Press

EXETER (AP) — Community leaders and activists will be gathering in Exeter, to celebrate international and local action to meet the challenge of climate change.

Members of the League of Conservation Voters, the Union of Concerned Scientists and others are gathering Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Exeter Town Hall.

They plan to rally to celebrate the recent signing of the Paris Climate Agreement and highlight local climate change action.

The historic agreement on climate change marked a major milestone last week with a record 175 countries signing on to it on opening day.
