Collision in Rochester sends two women to the hospital
ROCHESTER - A collision on Milton Road sent two people to the hospital Friday afternoon.
Police said the two drivers were headed in opposite directions on Milton Street when the driver of a Dodge Caravan turned left into the path of the second vehicle, a Subaru Forester, at the intersection with Highland Street.
Police say the driver of the Subaru, Joyce Boucher, 54, of Somersworth, was taken to Wentworth Douglas Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The passenger of the Dodge, Barbara Davidson, of Peabody, Mass, was taken to Frisbie Memorial Hospital for non life-threatening injuries, police said.
The driver of the Dodge, Jeffrey Davidson, 43, also of Peabody, was not not injured, however he was issued a summons for failure to yield.
Police said everyone was wearing seat belts and that the air bags deployed in both vehicles.
