CONCORD - The New Hampshire Attorney General's office said a convicted murderer killed a woman whose body was found in Winchester in 1987.
Police found then-40-year-old Edward Mayrand with Judith Whitney's car and handgun but did not have enough evidence at the time to charge him.
Maynard, who the AG said is also responsible for killing Kathleen Daneault in Gardner, Mass., in 1983, died in 2011.
He was convicted of killing Patricia Paquette in Rhode Island in 1994.
