CNN's Jake Tapper to speak at Dartmouth College commencement
HANOVER, N.H. (AP) — CNN news anchor Jake Tapper will be giving the main address at his alma mater's commencement ceremony on Sunday.
Tapper is speaking at Dartmouth College in Hanover. He will be among seven honorary degree recipients.
The Ivy League school's commencement ceremony has included bagpipe music since 1953, when Andrew Logan of Springfield, Massachusetts, was hired to add a bit of flourish when President Dwight Eisenhower was the keynote speaker. When Logan retired in 1996, graduating student Joshua Marks took over and has been leading the procession ever since.
