Clayton Stiver's Winter Storm Setup for Saturday Night into Sunday

NH1 Chief Meteorologist - NH1.com

I'm continuing to track the potential for wintry weather for the Granite State Saturday Night into Sunday. It looks like NH can expect initially snow Saturday Night, say after 7 PM, changing to sleet between 1 AM and 5 AM from south to north, a little freezing rain, and eventually plain old rain by sunrise Sunday (Mountains and North Woods may hang on to sleet, some freezing rain, a bit longer but even here I expect a change to rain by late Sunday Morning).

Several inches of snow/sleet accumulation will be likely and impacts on travel will be mainly Saturday Night into the wee hours of Sunday Morning. I will be posting a projected snowfall map Friday PM.

Freezing rain/ice accumulation looks to be less than 0.10" for most. I'm not expecting huge amounts here but still enough to make for some travel troubles. This forecast is subject to change so stay tuned!
