Clayton Stiver's Update on Cold Temperatures
A dip in the jet stream combined with a strong northwest flow of wind will usher back in arctic air across the Granite State over the next 24 hours.
Temps overnight and first thing Friday Morning should be either side of 0. Factor in winds perhaps gusting to as high as 30mph, and the wind chill values will be on the order of -10 to -20. Friday Afternoon highs will only work into the low and middle teens and with the breezes continuing to be gusty, wind chill values will still be several degrees below 0.
Look for the winds to back down Friday Night but temps will still fall below 0 going into Saturday Morning. Bundle up everyone.
