Clayton Stiver's Rain Totals Forecast for Tuesday into Wednesday for the Granite State

There's a heavy rain aspect to this Nor'Easter which could lead to flooding. Folks from the Merrimack Valley and points south and east will see the longest period of plain old rain which looks to be on the order of 1"-2" with locally higher amounts. With the frozen snowpack on the ground, the ground will have a tough time absorbing the rainfall. This leads to runoff issues with urban and poor drainage areas needing to be on the lookout especially for flooding. Coastal flooding around high tide Tuesday Afternoon will also be possible for the Seacoast along with beach erosion.
