Clayton Stiver's latest snowfall forecast for NH for Thursday
We continue to track a fast moving storm system diving out of Canada and getting set to move across NH Thursday. This "clipper" system is moisture starved and is not expected to stall out off the coast. Therefore, this will not become a full-fledge nor'easter. Rather, we can expect some scattered snow showers and maybe a period of light snow primarily from late Thursday Morning through say 11pm Thursday Night.
Snowfall totals look to be anywhere from a coating to perhaps as high as 2" (2" amounts look to be mainly across the Mountains). It is possible several locations don't even pick up an inch of snow. Regardless, it only takes the slightest coating on roadways to make for slippery travel so be cautious when driving tomorrow, especially during the PM. See additional graphics below.
