Clayton Stiver's Ice Accumulation Forecast for Saturday Night into Sunday Morning
NH1 Chief Meteorologist - NH1.com
Snow will initially overspread much of the Granite State once we get past 5pm Saturday. A south breeze will be ushering in warmer air aloft, and by midnight and certainly past that, we'll see a transition to sleet and freezing rain from south to north. Temps will slowly rise through the 20s and by sunrise Sunday, many should be sitting right around 32.
The worst of the road conditions look to be Saturday Night into first thing Sunday Morning. Roads should be mostly wet by late morning into the afternoon. For ice accumulations from freezing rain, many folks are probably talking .10" or less but some spots from western Cheshire and western Sullivan Counties up through Grafton, Carroll, and Coos Counties could be talking more like .10"-.25" While these are not overly impressive amounts, as we know it doesn't take much of a glaze of ice to make for problems.
