Flood WATCH in effect for Merrimack, Belknap, Carroll, Strafford, and Rockingham Counties from 6am Wednesday through Thursday Evening. Rainfall totals by Thursday Evening should be in the 1"-3" range with locally higher totals possible. The prolonged rainfall will lead to the rise of streams and rivers which could potentially lead to flooding. Poor drainage areas (especially those clogged with leaves) and low-lying areas may also experience flooding over time.
Wednesday: Early morning fog otherwise cloudy with periods of rain, heaviest late in the day, becoming breezy in the afternoon, highs 49-53. Wednesday Night: Windy with rain likely, some heavy, a t-storm also possible, lows 43-47. Thursday: Rain likely, some heavy, windy, highs 51-55. Friday: Scattered morning showers otherwise cloudy, highs 53-57. Saturday: Partly sunny, highs 58-62. Sunday: Partly sunny with a slight chance for a shower, highs 54-58.
