Low pressure over the eastern Great Lakes will move to the southeast Tuesday and intensify south of Long Island Tuesday Night...bringing an extended period of rain to the area. Low pressure will meander off the southern New England Coast Wednesday through Friday before drifting off to the northeast on Saturday. A cold front will cross the area Sunday followed by a ridge of high pressure for Monday.
Tuesday: Cloudy with scattered showers in the morning, becoming more widespread and steady during the afternoon, highs 54-59. Tuesday Night: Rain likely with patchy fog, breezes picking up, lows 45-49. Wednesday: Rain likely, some heavy, breezy, highs 52-56. Thursday: Rain likely, some heavy, breezy, highs 55-59.
