Freezing Rain Advisory in effect for Cheshire, Sullivan, Southern Grafton, Carroll, Belknap, Merrimack, Hillsborough, Straford, and interior Rockingham Counties from 10am to 5pm Sunday. Around a trace of ice possible due to some freezing drizzle. Be mindful of slippery spots.
Winter Weather Advisory in effect for Northern Grafton and Coos Counties from 1pm Sunday to 1pm Monday. Around a trace of ice accumulation possible along with wet snow accumulation anywhere from 1 to 6 inches, with elevations above 2500 feet seeing the most snow.
Warmer air builds into the Granite State for Sunday while a storm system tracks up the Eastern Seaboard Sunday Afternoon into Monday Morning. Due to the storm tracking well inland across New England, the majority of the event should come in the form of rain. The Mountains and Great North Woods could see several inches of wet slushy snow accumulation. The storm system exits Monday allowing for skies to slowly clear, but breezes really pick up.
Mostly sunny skies are expected Tuesday with high pressure returning. A storm system looks to track to our south midweek and at this time it appears we won't see much from it. A fairly seasonable pattern looks to take hold overall as we progress through next week.
A weak system may track through on Friday but at this time it only looks to spark a flurry or snow shower.
