Clayton Stiver's 7-day NH1 Forecast for Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014

Cold high pressure builds across the region Saturday Morning. The high pressure system will then slide off the east coast allowing a return southwesterly flow of wind to usher in warmer air. The warm-up won't be too noticeable Saturday thanks to such a cold start to the day, but by Sunday, more seasonable air will have taken over. A weak upper level disturbance tracking to our north late Saturday Night and early Sunday may spark some isolated freezing drizzle, snow showers, or showers, but at this time this doesn't look to amount to much.

A large low pressure area moves northeast out of the Great Lakes through the St. Lawrence Valley Sunday Night into Monday bringing a decent swath of rain to the area. A strong surge of mild air will build across the Granite State Monday thanks to a southerly flow of wind ahead of the storm system.

A cold front crosses the region Tuesday with seasonable to below normal temps returning behind the front. A series of coastal lows will track offshore during the mid to late week holiday period possibly bringing some rain and snow to the Seacoast. It appears most locations across the Granite State will miss out on this activity, but changes are still possible with the track of these low pressure systems. If the track shifts closer to the coast then rain and snow would affect more areas as well. Stay tuned! Have a great and safe weekend everyone!

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, highs 50-54. Wednesday: Sun and clouds, highs 41-45. Thanksgiving: Sun and clouds, highs 37-41. Black Friday: Sun and clouds, highs 35-39.
