City of Portsmouth anticipates a snow emergency parking ban


PORTSMOUTH - The city has issued an advanced snow emergency parking.

With the current weather forcast, Public Works of Portsmouth anticipates the need to declare a snow emergency within the next 16 to 20 hours.

Portsmouth Public works asks all vehicles to be moved, there can not be any vehicles parked on city streets during the declared snow emergency.

Cars that are left will either be ticketed or towed. For more information you can call the Portsmouth Public Works department at 427-1530 or their snow phone line 766-7669 (SNO-SNOW).
