Citizens Bank problem leaves some customers without their paychecks

Citizens Bank is experiencing transaction delays affecting customer accounts.

The company acknowledged the problem on its social media accounts around 9:30 a.m. Friday calling it a "vendor processing issue."

The delays mean customers with direct deposit may not have received their money. The company did not say when it expected the problem to be fixed but asked customers for patience while they worked to fix the problem.

A phone call to Citizens was not immediately returned Friday morning. NH1 News will update this story as more information becomes available.
