Church vandal pleads guilty, will serve jail time
NEWPORT - The Charlestown teen that was accused of causing serious damage at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Claremont pleaded guilty last week, according to the Union Leader.
18-year-old Zachery Underwood will serve two 12-month sentences in jail for felony criminal mischief and misdemeanor theft by unauthorized taking, per the report.
NH1.com reported in August that Underwood and a juvenile suspect broke into the Church and caused serious damage after forcing their way into the church through a window.
