Christopher Gay found guilty of second-degree murder for fatally stabbing Farmington, NH, man
A man has been found guilty of second-degree murder in the stabbing death of a Farmington man.
Christopher Gay was convicted Monday of fatally stabbing 22-year-old Ryan Stewart at his apartment on 11 Worster St. in Farmington, N.H.
A second man, Corey Bennett, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in March after reaching an agreement with the state to testify at Gay's trial for a reduced sentence.
Second-degree murder carries a maximum sentence of life in prison but also has possibility of parole.
The jury deliberated for almost a week before announcing the verdict Monday morning.
