Chlamydia, gonorrhea cases are on the rise in NH

Cases of chlamydia and gonorrhea are on the rise, a report from the New Hampshire Bureau of Infectious Disease Control shows.

Last year, 3,681 Granite Staters were infected with chlamydia. That number is about 600 greater than 2011's total of 3,021.

For gonorrhea, 247 cases were confirmed in 2015, nearly double the 136 reported cases in 2011.

As of April 30, 2016, 984 cases of chlamydia and 115 cases of gonorrhea have been reported.
