Chinese food delivery driver stabbed and robbed on job in Manchester


MANCHESTER— A food delivery driver was stabbed in the neck and robbed on the job Saturday night.

Shu-ping Lin, a Golden Tao Restaurant employee, had just completed a delivery on Kelley Street when a man hit him in the head from behind.

The man then stabbed Lin's neck and demanded his money. He was holding a folding knife. A resident of the apartment building saw the assailant run away and went to aid Lin.

The attacker has not been located yet. He is described as a Hispanic male with a heavy-set build and short black hair.

At the time of the attack he wore a green bandana over his face, a dark red t-shirt and jeans.

Lin's stab wound was non-life threatening. If you have any information you are asked to contact the Manchester police at 603-668-8711.
