NEWBURY — This year's League of New Hampshire Craftsmen's Fair is featuring a new tasting tent, a Children's Day, and "Lunch and Learn" seminars with master craftsmen.
The fair started Saturday at the Mount Sunapee Resort in Newbury and runs through Aug. 14. It has more than 200 booths of crafts, including pottery, hand-blown glass, framed prints, scarves, jewelry, wooden toys, and others.
The Children's Day is on Wednesday, Aug. 10. It will feature sing-alongs with singer Amy Connelly, a mime, and face painting. Participants in the tasting tent include Fuller's Sugarhouse, Cabot Cheese, LaBelle Winery, and King Arthur Flour.
The "Lunch & Learn" participants will have a chance to ask questions and to interact with a master craftsman or expert.
