WOLFEBORO - Three people - including a child - were seriously injured in head-on collision on Thursday.

Police said cars driven by Sarah Kelly, 31, and Tannah Curtis, 27, hit each other while driving opposite directions on Center Street.

Kelly's daughter was also injured in the crash.

Curtis and Kelly both had to be extricated from the cars.

Center street was closed for about 2 hours as emergency officials cleared the scene.

Wolfeboro police Captain Dean Rondeau said, "speed does not appear to be a factor, but drugs and alcohol may have been involved."

All three of the crash victims were transported to Huggins Hospital.
