Chichester man arrested for DWI after ignoring I-93 sinkhole closure signs


CONCORD - A man who ignored signs, traffic cones and flags warning of the I-93 sinkhole closure, was arrested Wednesday afternoon for driving while intoxicated.

Thomas Richard Conner, 55, allegedly yelled at construction workers as he attempted to drive on the closed northbound lanes.

Thomas Richard Conner, 55, was arrested on suspicion of DWI.

Police gave Conner a breath test that showed an alcohol content three times the legal limit.

He was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated.
