Chesterfield man charged with passing $20s disguised as $100 bills at Keene stores

KEENE - A 22-year-old Chesterfield man is under arrest for passing $20 bills disguised as $100 bills at three local stores.

Peter Giandalone, 22, was arrested Friday on a warrant charging him with three counts of forgery.

During a search of his home Thursday, police seized a computer, printer and chemicals.

Giandalone allegedly used the phony $100s three times May 2. He used them at the T-Bird Mini-Mart, Circle K Gas Station, and CVS. In each case, he used the disguised $20 to make small purchases to receive change from $100.

He is currently being held at the Cheshire County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. His next appearance will before the Cheshire Superior Court on Monday
