Chester kids donate money from their lemonade stand to man who lost home, dog to fire

CHESTER - Six children donated money earned from their lemonade stand to a man who lost his home and his beloved dog in a fire.

Brian "Bear" Bray shared via Facebook how much he was touched by the kindness of the children.

"This weekend started especially hard as I tragically discovered I had indeed lost my beloved dog Zilo, but on Sunday morning I was handed a beautifully decorated manila envelope with a rainbow on one side and words of inspiration on the other.

"I read the handwritten colorful letters within many times throughout the day, and even now touched so deeply with emotion that I am choked by it. I can't express how 6 children brightened my world.

"Thank you Calianne, Cassidy, Macie, Sophia, Caden and T.J. The kindness you've shown a stranger with the generosity from your lemonade stand is greatly appreciated while your words and the smiles they've given me are truly priceless.

"I would like to also thank everyone who searched or helped in anyway in finding Zilo. There will never be enough words to tell you all what your efforts and support mean to me."
