CHESHIRE COUNTY — A $4 million federal grant has been awarded to the county to implement a plan to create a more integrated system of care for kids with behavioral and mental health issues.
This is the largest grant Cheshire County has received in the last decade.
Creation of the plan was done with the youth and family of those with mental and behavioral issues.
The aim is to ensure that solutions are found to fix the problems with the current system of care.
