Charlestown woman seeks kidney donor with car windows

CHARLESTOWN – Atonya Hart has followed in the footsteps of a Massachusetts man who got a kidney transplant after advertising it on his car.

Hart, the wife of a Charlestown police officer, was diagnosed with Kidney disease in 1991 and now she is in desperate need of a transplant.

Hart’s car now has “Mom needs a kidney,” and “Type O or pair match” written on the windows in hope someone will see it and donate.

Hart, a child abuse social worker, and her family are hoping someone who is a match will be willing to donate.

You can contact Atonya Hart at 603-558-2569.
