Changing Families: Virtual doctor's office comes to NH
CONCORD - Fall foliage may be in full peak but that means the winter - and flu season is right around the corner.
But a new virtual tool is making it easier for Granite Staters to get quick doctor's advice.
Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield have announced the tele medicine, which comes after a state law reversed the need for a doctor to have a pre-existing relationship with a patient before offering advice.
The program is called Live Health Online and insurers claim it saves patients money and gets quick service to people faster than an emergency or urgent care visit.
With Live Health Online, allows you to contact a doctor any time of day or night from anywhere.
