CHANGING FAMILIES - Rockingham County again ranks as New Hampshire's healthiest county and Coos County the least healthy in the state, in an annual report on the health of Granite Staters.
The report compares counties on more than 30 factors that influence health including education, housing, jobs, smoking, access to healthy food and more.
After Rockingham County, Merrimack County is the next healthiest, followed by Grafton, Carroll, Hillsborough, Belknap, Cheshire, Strafford, Sullivan, and Coos counties.
The rankings were released Wednesday by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute.
