ENFIELD — A public meeting was scheduled for Monday to discuss proposed changes to fireworks rules in town.
New regulations regarding the specific days and times people can use fireworks were addressed.
According to the Valley News, several issues were at stake, with differences being drawn by year-round residents and summer visitors.
People who have spoken out on the fireworks issue cite wildlife, environment and noise issues.
The meeting took place at 6:30 p.m. in the town's public works garage at Lockehaven Road.
