JACKSON - Black Mountain is offering skiers a chance at finding love with its eighth annual chairlift speed dating Saturday.
The speed dating will begin at 2 p.m. on "the lift of love" and last until 4 p.m. Participation is free, but contestants are required have purchased a lift ticket. A variety of prizes will be awarded at the event's conclusion.
The event has led to one marriage: David and Heather Day married this past fall after meeting on the lift of love on Feb. 12, 2011.
