BEDFORD — A baseball fundraiser for The Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock raised over $71,000.
CHaD had their sixth annual Battle of the Badges Baseball Classic on Sunday.
A total of 43 New Hampshire police officers and firefighters played in front of a crowd of nearly 1,500 at the home of the Fisher Cats.
Each player was tasked with raising a minimum of $1,000 in order to participate in the game by selling tickets and collecting donations.
In six years, the game has generated more than $320,000 for the kids and programs at CHaD.
