The U.S. Census Bureau says the fastest growing communities in New Hampshire are Durham, Dover and Portsmouth.
Those three cities saw the largest percentage increase in population last year.
From July of 2013 to July 2014 Durham's population rose by 380, followed by Dover with an increase of 295. Meanwhile, Portsmouth's population jumped 208.
Of the smaller cities and towns, Newbury, Greenland and Fremont saw the biggest increases in population according to census data.
New Hampshire as a state gained 1,576 housing units during that time period.
