CDC says salmonella outbreak among cucumbers is over after 907 infections

The CDC says the multi-state outbreak of salmonella linked to cucumbers is over.

A total of 907 people were infected in 40 states. Among them, at least 204 hospitalizations and six deaths. One case was confirmed in New Hampshire. In California, 245 cases were confirmed. Arizona had 140 cases.

Officials said the field where the cucumbers were grown were likely in Baja, California in Mexico, but how they became contaminated is unknown.
