Carroll County's Farm could be closing
OSSIPEE — The future of Carroll County's farm is uncertain and is going to be discussed by the agricultural learning center subcommittee of Carroll County's legislative delegation along with a state representative who had the farm close, according to the Conway Daily Sun.
The meeting will be on Saturday starting at 2 p.m. at Mountain View Community Nursing Home.
The farm's budget was cut in half in March by a group of 15 state representatives who approve county budgets.
Closing the farm was an unpopular idea with residents, according to the paper.
