HAMPTON - A car plowed into a building on Monday night.

Hampton police responded to Lighthouse Market on Ocean Boulevard at 8:52 p.m., and found a blue Dodge Neon crashed into the building.

Police said Scott Laliberte Jr., 20 of Haverhill, Mass., skidded across the sidewalk hitting several chairs and tables before hitting the Lighthouse Market.

The tables and chairs broke several windows in the front of the store.

The collision is still under investigation and police said Laliberte could be facing charges.
