Car crash sends 2 people to NH hospital, leaving jet ski in roadway

ROCHESTER — A crash in Rochester ended with two people in the hospital and a jet ski in the roadway.

The Rochester Police and Fire Departments, along with Frisbie EMS, responded to North Main Street near the intersection of Ten Rod Road for a two-car collision Wednesday around noon.

Megan Doyon, 46 of Milton, attempted to pull into the left hand turning lane while approaching the intersection when he car hit a trailer being pulled by a truck operated by James Dube, 58 of Middleton, Massachusetts, police said. The truck was allegedly stopped in traffic at the time of the crash.

As a result of the collision, a jet ski on the trailer became dislodged and thrown into the roadway.

Officials transported Doyon, and one of her adult passengers, Jennifer Rollins, to Frisbie Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Both vehicles needed to be towed from the scene as a result of the damage.

The case remains under investigation, and anyone with information is asked to call the Rochester Police Department 603-330-7128.
