Car attempting U-Turn crashes into motorcycle, both drivers injured in Bedford
BEDFORD — A motorcyclist was injured after he crashed into a car attempting to make a U-turn on Route 114.
After an initial investigation, police said the driver of a 2016 Hyandai Sonata was making a U-turn in order to avoid traffic traveling northbound due to paving further up White Avenue on Wednesday at about 6:30 p.m.. When the car was turning around, a 2016 Dark Horse motorcycle travelling southbound hit the front right portion of the vehicle.
Both drivers were transported to a local hospital. The motorcyclist suffered a broken arm, broken teeth, and cuts on his face.
Both drivers have cooperated with police during the investigation, police said.
Police have not identified the people involved in the incident.
